Photos Photiades Breweries was officially formed as a company in 1963 and was also the owner of the oldest brewery in Cyprus, the Leon Brewery since 1937. In 1968 the Company was granted the license to produce Carlsberg beer in Cyprus, which made Cyprus the first ever country to produce Carlsberg outside Denmark.
