Ölgerðin Egill Skallagrímsson ehf. was established on 17 April 1913. The first products were beers, but the company soon gained a reputation as a producer of a range of high-quality drinks. The operation has expanded gradually over the years, and now foods and drinks are imported, marketed and distributed alongside Ölgerðin’s own products.
